Manufacturing Associate I (Media - Fill/Finish)

Location: This position is based in our Walkersville, MD office. The typical work schedule is Monday through Thursday, 6:30 AM–5:00 PM EST

What will you do:

We are seeking a Manufacturing Associate to support fill/finish operations within our media production area. This role is responsible for preparing, filling, and finishing liquid media products while ensuring compliance with GMP standards and operational procedures. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, safety-focused, and capable of performing physical tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

  • Perform fill/finish operations, including preparation, filling, and packaging of liquid media products

  • Operate filling and finishing equipment while monitoring performance and ensuring proper operation

  • Execute environmental monitoring and support cleanroom activities in controlled environments

  • Complete batch records and GMP documentation accurately and in a timely manner

  • Inspect finished products, perform final checks, and prepare materials for shipment

  • Support inventory management, material movement, and transfer of items in and out of the cleanroom

  • Maintain cleanliness of production areas, including housekeeping and cleaning of equipment and workspaces

  • Perform additional production support tasks such as label retrieval, sterilization preparation, palletizing, and sample delivery to QC

What we are looking for:

  • High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree in life sciences, engineering, or related field preferred

  • Previous manufacturing or technical experience in a regulated environment preferred

  • Ability to follow SOPs, processes, and GMP documentation requirements with strong attention to detail

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively both independently and within a team

  • Ability to manage workload in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities

  • Problem-solving mindset with a proactive and solution-oriented approach

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently and perform physical tasks throughout the shift

  • Willingness to support team training and collaborate across cross-functional groups
