Manufacturing Associate — Day Shift

Verdi, NV | Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire | Starting at $22.00/hour DOE

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 4:00 AM–2:00 PM

Position Overview

Ready to move beyond a basic warehouse job and learn valuable manufacturing skills? We are hiring Manufacturing Associates for an established precision metal manufacturing operation in Verdi, NV.

You'll receive hands-on training to work with forge press and other production equipment used to manufacture metal components. This role includes loading and unloading materials, assisting with machine setups, operating equipment, inspecting finished parts, and helping the team meet daily production goals.

Previous forging experience is not required. We're looking for dependable people who are mechanically inclined, comfortable working with their hands, and interested in learning.

Experience in warehouse, production, construction, manufacturing, automotive, machine operation, or other physical work environments can transfer well into this position.

What You'll Do

• Load and unload metal components from production equipment
• Learn and support forge press operations
• Assist with machine setups and production changeovers
• Help with tooling changes
• Operate trim presses and other equipment after training
• Perform visual inspections and basic measurements
• Identify and report potential quality issues
• Safely move and handle materials
• Follow work instructions, production schedules, and safety procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Work with your team to meet production and quality goals

What We're Looking For

• Warehouse, manufacturing, production, construction, machine operation, or industrial experience preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Willingness to learn new machinery and processes
• Excellent attendance and reliability
• Comfortable working around industrial machinery, noise, and varying temperatures
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Ability to work effectively as part of a production team
• Forklift or overhead crane experience is a plus

Physical Requirements

• Stand and walk throughout the shift
• Frequently lift up to 50 pounds
• Bend, reach, twist, and perform repetitive movements
• Safely work around heavy industrial machinery
