The Role:

The Manufacturing Assembly Technician is a key member of the Manufacturing team, and will be literally assembling, calibrating, and testing our Instrument from top to bottom. It’s a fairly repetitive role, and for someone who likes the challenge of piecing together a big puzzle every day that involves moderately difficult electromechanical systems, combined with the knowledge that your hands are building the tech of the future, it will be a great fit.

This role requires attendance during normal working hours between 9-5, 5 days a week in the Boston Seaport area. This a contract role with the potential to become permanent.

Day to Day and Year 1

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required. 5+ years of military training and experience testing, and troubleshooting of large military platforms to be considered in lieu of technical diploma.
• 1-2+ years experience in a manufacturing environment that involves assembling products with any combination of electronics, robotics, or mechanical components
• Physical Requirement: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, work while standing for extended periods and be comfortable bending, leaning, reaching, and working in and around machinery as part of daily job duties.
• Experience debugging and repairing electrical components using multimeters.
• Must use and understand the application of hand tools, torque wrenches, and related assembly tools.
• Experience reading, following, and applying manufacturing work instructions required.
• Experience with more advanced manufacturing/ debugging tools such as oscilloscopes, metrology tools, etc preferred but not required.
• Experience with interpreting and reading engineering drawings to ASME standards preferred but not required.
• Must be a self-starter who looks for ways to improve the job and related processes and shows initiative in execution.
• Ability to Self-manage your day-to-day areas with minimal supervision, while completing tasks with high quality output and timely delivery
