Buckman delivers exceptional service and innovative solutions to our customers globally in the pulp and paper, leather, and water treatment sectors to help boost productivity, reduce risk, improve product quality, and provide a measurable return on investment.   Position Summary Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Manufacturing department to ensure operational efficiency, compliance, and alignment with organizational goals. Key Outcomes/Responsibilities Outcome: Operational Plan Support & Reporting Accurate and timely documentation and reporting the supports manufacturing operations and decision-making.

Actions:
  • Prepare, proofread, and distribute operational documents
  • Correlate and input key performance metrics
  • Maintain organized filing and retrieval systems
  Outcome: Processing Invoicing Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant processing of invoices to support financial integrity, vendor relationships, and operation efficiency. Actions:
  • Review and validate invoice details against purchase order, delivery receipts, and contract terms
  • Enter and Process invoices in the financial system (Concur, SAP)
  • Monitor invoice aging and follow up on pending approvals or missing documentation
  • Minimize payment delays and vendor disputes
  Outcome: Training Coordination Seamless execution of training programs for associates and contractors, ensuring compliance and readiness. Actions:
  • Schedule and track training sessions using Learning Catalog and tracking tools
  • Reserve rooms and coordinate resources (A/V, food, materials)
  • Maintain accurate training records
  Outcome: Managerial Support Increased productivity and time efficiency for Manufacturing leadership.

Actions:
  • Manage correspondence, calendars, and meeting logistics
  • Coordinate expense approvals and capital project documentation
  • Track attendance and recognition programs (e.g., GEM Awards)
  • Plan and support meetings, travel, and reporting
  • Create and manage spreadsheets and reports
  • Serve as gatekeeper for Plant Manager access
  Outcome: ISO Documentation Support Up-to-date and compliant ISO documentation across manufacturing sites.
Actions:
  • Ensure all SOP files are current
  • Files new SOP
  Outcome: Office Equipment & Supplies Coordination Operational continuity through effective resource and equipment management.
Actions:
  • Track expenses and maintain inventory
  • Coordinate repairs and supply orders
  • Maintain MSDS documentation
 Basic Qualifications 
  • Education Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Job Experience: 2-3 years  
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) 
  • Experience with SAP and document control systems preferred
