YOUR ROLE: Manual QA Tester - Mobile Card App.

Requirements

Core Experience

  • 2+ years of experience in manual software testing, preferably in mobile application environments
  • Hands-on experience testing native mobile applications on both iOS and Android platforms
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, software testing lifecycle (STLC), and defect management processes
  • Experience creating and executing test cases, regression tests, and exploratory testing
  • Experience testing end-to-end user flows and validating product quality before releases
  • Previous experience with card programs, payment cards, or fintech products is considered a strong advantage

Mobile Testing Skills

  • Experience with functional, regression, usability, and exploratory testing for mobile apps
  • Familiarity with testing across different devices, screen sizes, and OS versions
  • Experience validating onboarding flows, authentication, push notifications, and payment-related functionality
  • Familiarity with mobile debugging and network monitoring tools such as TestFlight, Browserstack, Logcat, Xcode logs, Charles Proxy, or similar

QA Process & Collaboration

  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum development teams
  • Ability to identify, document, prioritize, and track defects with clear reproduction steps
  • Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, TestRail, Zephyr, or similar QA/project management tools
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with developers, product managers, designers, and support teams
  • Proactive mindset focused on quality improvements and reliable releases

Technical Understanding

  • Basic understanding of API testing and tools such as Postman
  • Familiarity with JSON, request/response validation, and backend communication flows
  • Understanding of mobile app release and staging/pre-production testing processes

Soft Skills

  • Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
  • Good communication skills in English
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of testing activities
  • Structured and quality-focused approach to problem solving

Nice to Have

  • Experience in fintech, banking, card payments, or digital wallet applications
  • Exposure to test automation or CI/CD processes
  • Understanding of security and payment-related testing flows like transaction authorization lifecycle
  • Interest in modern mobile technologies and financial products
