ABOUT THIS JOB
The Digital Hub "OS&R" designs and delivers IT Solutions to secure the right functionality, quality and capacity for the 1st & 2nd Mile of the Network (incl. BNG). This includes as well the potentials for automation in the area of plan, build and run.
The Digital Hub OS&R represents the value stream of the „Netzbewirtschaftung“. This includes all phases of the lifecycle, from „Plan, Build up to Run“ activities. The Digital Hub is looking after the „Integrated planning and rollout of the broadband fixed net services“ up to the „operation of the infrastructure“, means the entire lifecycle of the network.
The digital hub OS&R provides IT solutions for the provision and maintenance of the network infrastructure from one source. Our goal is to develop and deliver software faster, more efficient and more customer-oriented. Furthermore, we want to establish feature-centric agile development.
All the responsibilities we will trust you with:
- develop and review test cases, sets of regression tests from business and technical requirements
- perform, analyze and log test results of various testing such as:
- manual tests
- bilateral testing
- regression testing
- smoke testing
- functional testing
- report, track and verify issues and defects (basic knowledge of JIRA)
- coordinate testing with other teams when necessary
- contribute and participate in initiatives that improve processes and performance effectiveness
- performing other job-related duties as assigned
All the achievements you are proud of:
- work experience in testing 2+ years with backend
- knowledge of test design techniques and basic test theory
- knowledge of UML
- basic knowledge and experience with Jira and Confluence
- basic knowledge of XML, JSON and related validations and transformation technologies
- experience in API testing by any tool (Postman, SoapUI, readyAPI, JMeter)
- analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- strong communication and collaboration skills
- Very good written and spoken English skills
Beneficial Skills:
- SAFE, Agile methodologies knowledge
- Gitlab
- Maven
- Telecom domain knowledge (OSS/BSS, OSR, FF, ASR, etc)
- Understanding of Abstraction-Layer, orchestrator, M2M application
- Knowledge of Calypso automation tool
