ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a
QA Engineer
to create test strategies, document test cases, and execute cross-browser testing for eCommerce platform features including payment, gift card, product data, and search. You will work with the QA lead to enhance manual and automated test processes, participate in UAT and issue resolution phases, and collaborate directly with clients on high-profile brand projects. Hands-on experience with Shopify Plus is required..
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Create detailed, comprehensive, well-structured test strategy and test plans;
- Work with the QA lead and project leads to enhance manual and automated test processes;
- Maintain test scripts and keep them up to date for each project/task;
- Document test cases and expected results for applications under test;
- Cross-browser test and debug applications for defects;
- Participate in the issue resolution, retesting, and UAT phases of the project;
- Work with and test eCommerce platform areas such as payment, gift card, product data, search, etc.;
- Attend status meetings as a representative of the QA team;
- Attend client meetings when needed.
MUST HAVES
-
2+ years of experience in QA roles

- Experience with
e-commerce, particularly Shopify Plus
;
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under pressure;
- Adaptability and willingness to take on tasks outside of a narrowly defined role;
- Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills;
- Experience with
Agile development methodologies
;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Advanced communication and technical writing skills for issue logging and testing coordination;
- Ability to assess and mitigate risks;
- Interest in working on high-profile brands with complex requirements;
- Interest in a company that values training and skills development;
- Values kindness, curiosity, and intelligence;
- Upper-intermediate English level.
NICE TO HAVES
- Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud;
- Ability to write tests using Gherkin (BDD) syntax.
