Hourly base pay rate is $15.10 - $22.69/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.
There are multiple open positions. Candidates may be hired at one of the following levels depending on experience, qualifications, and business need. This will be a remote position with an assigned territory. Candidates must live in Boise, Idaho.
Mobile Inspector – Level 1
Hourly Pay Range
100% Geo: $15.10 – $22.69 per hour
110% Geo: $16.63 – $24.90 per hour
120% Geo: $18.17 – $27.21 per hour
Mobile Inspector – Level 2
Hourly Pay Range
100% Geo: $16.59 – $24.86 per hour
110% Geo: $18.22 – $27.36 per hour
120% Geo: $19.90 – $29.81 per hour
Mobile Inspector – Senior Level
Hourly Pay Range
100% Geo: $18.17– $27.31 per hour
110% Geo: $20.00– $30.00 per hour
120% Geo: $21.83– $32.79 per hour

The Mobile Inspector functions as a key member of the Manheim Mobile Inspections team, responsible for conducting on‑site vehicle condition inspections for dealer clients within an assigned territory. This role provides accurate, detailed, and timely documentation of vehicle condition in accordance with Manheim inspection standards, supporting client trust, marketplace transparency, and inventory flow.
Mobile Inspectors build strong relationships with dealer clients by delivering consistent, high‑quality inspections, acting as brand ambassadors for Cox Automotive, and actively engaging dealers to grow participation in Manheim’s mobile inspection services.
This role requires the ability to work with minimal supervision while demonstrating increasing independence, sound judgment, and problem‑solving skills.

Entry‑level role responsible for conducting vehicle inspections under established processes while learning Manheim inspection standards, tools, and client engagement practices.

Intermediate role responsible for independently managing assigned inspection activity, delivering high‑quality inspections, and supporting growth within the assigned territory.

Benefits
Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
