Temporary Hourly Position

Position Summary: The school district is seeking a qualified MANDT Trainer to provide training and support for staff in behavior management, de-escalation techniques, and safe physical intervention strategies. The trainer will conduct initial and recertification trainings in accordance to district requirements and MANDT program standards. Responsibilities Include:

• Provide MANDT training and recertification courses for district employees.
• Coordinate training schedules with district administrators and supervisors.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current MANDT Trainer certification or ability to obtain certification.
• Experience working with students or individuals exhibiting challenging behaviors preferred.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise good professional judgment.
• Ability to perform the physical requirements associated with MANDT training.

Compensation: This is a temporary, hourly position working less than 15 hours a week or less than 30 working days within a 60 calendar-day period. Hourly rate is $30.00 an hour.

Selected hires will be fingerprinted at the applicant's expense and fingerprints forwarded to the Alaska State Troopers and the FBI for a records check.
