You will contribute to cutting-edge digital solutions in a project focused on developing a web-based application for the automation, optimization, as well as maintenance of software release processes.

  • During your internship, you will support the design and development of a full-stack web application that will streamline release workflows, as well as improve traceability, enhancing the overall efficiency of software delivery.
  • You will work with both front-end and back-end technologies to implement features such as release planning, version tracking, as well as automated deployment triggers and status dashboards.
  • Furthermore, you will collaborate with team members to integrate the application with existing CI/CD pipelines and version control systems, ensuring seamless interaction with engineering tools, as well as infrastructure.
  • Your contributions will reduce manual effort, minimize errors and improve visibility of release activities.
  • Working closely with product owners, DevOps engineers and software developers, you will gain an understanding of the specific needs of internal stakeholders, as well as translate these into intuitive, reliable and scalable web solutions.
  • Last but not least, you will keep an eye on current trends and best practices in full-stack development, DevOps, as well as software lifecycle management to promote innovative approaches to release automation and maintenance.

Qualifications

  • Studies in the field of Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Networking, Business Informatics or comparable with a focus on embedded software
  • Experience in web development using Python and Node.js; familiarity with Jenkins, Bitbucket, as well as Jira; understanding of software release processes and CI/CD workflows; knowledge of RESTful APIs, frontend frameworks, as well as experience in DevOps or automotive software development advantageous
  • You are able to grasp complex issues quickly and manage your time effectively; your motivation, as well as outgoing nature make you an excellent communicator; you have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Your on-site presence is required 2-3 days per week, partially mobile working is possible.
  • Very good in English and good in German

Duration: 6 months (confirmation of mandatory internship required)
