Job Description

Kroll’s Fund Solutions practice provides advisory and discretionary asset management services to General Partners and Limited Partners in respect of illiquid or distressed investments, including rationalizing management cost structures, restructuring single investments, and portfolio realisations. Our dedicated asset management structure enables us to act as a replacement General Partner in managing assets held for third parties in pooled investment vehicles,

Our Fund Solutions team leverages the full capabilities of Kroll’s global platform, including our industry-leading valuation and opinions practices, our expert witness and investigations practices and our transaction advisory services.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate solid experience of:

  • Building the Fund Solutions practice in APAC;
  • Extensive knowledge and experience of working within the funds and or restructuring industry;
  • Growing and managing Fund Solutions, sourcing opportunities through external relationships and Kroll’s existing internal network;
  • Driving growth and related strategic initiatives;
  • Leading, supervising and training members of the team;
  • Managing End of Fund Life and General Partner replacement services across APAC and globally;
  • Working knowledge of all relevant regulatory and legislative frameworks;
  • Developing and implementing business development initiatives; and
  • Working in a dynamic organisation across geographies in Asia and offshore jurisdictions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accountancy, Finance or Business Administration;
  • CA or CPA qualification (or equivalent);
  • A minimum of 15 years’ relevant work experience including funds and asset management disciplines, operational and financial restructuring, insolvency and forensic investigations;
  • Holder of recognized Restructuring and/or Financial Services accreditation;
  • Strong network with international and local law firms, general partners, limited partners and/or other relevant clientele;
  • Highly motivated with a good business sense and commercial acumen;
  • Strong financial, business analytical and report writing skills; and
  • Excellent communication skills (written and spoken) in English
