The Managing Director of Investor Relations is responsible for overseeing and implementing the Company’s investor engagement strategy and supporting Investor Relations activities. This individual will represent the Company to its shareholders, the investing public, and other members of the financial community while ensuring transparent, accurate, and compliant communication of the company’s financial performance, strategy, and long-term value proposition.

  • Develops, maintains, and improves relationships and communications between the Company and its shareholders, the investing public, and other members of the financial community
  • Manages the Company’s quarterly earnings process, including collaborating with senior leadership, preparing financial guidance, and developing prepared remarks
  • Monitors and analyzes shareholder composition, valuation trends, peer performance, and investor sentiment, providing insights to senior leadership
  • Collaborates closely with internal stakeholders, including leaders in Finance, Accounting, Legal, Communications, Commercial, Operations, Sustainability, and other organizations
  • Reviews, analyzes, and reports on the financial and operating metrics of the Company and other airlines
  • Develops and implements investor communication strategies
  • Leads ad-hoc projects, analyses, and presentations related to the Company’s investor relations activities

All you'll need for success

Minimum Qualifications – Education & Prior Job Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related discipline, or equivalent experience/training
  • 10 years of progressive leadership experience managing cross-departmental teams
  • 10 years of experience with financial processes and systems
  • Deep understanding of the airline business, competitive environment, and airline economics

Preferred Qualifications – Education & Prior Job Experience

  • Advanced Degree (MBA) or Advanced Certification (CPA/CFA)
  • Experience in Investor Relations and external stakeholder engagement
  • Knowledge of SEC regulations, disclosure requirements, and governance best practices pertaining to publicly traded companies

  • Ability to translate complex financial and strategic topics into clear, compelling, investor-ready narratives
  • Ability to think strategically, negotiate skillfully, digest complex details, and use sound judgment & initiative in making decisions
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, earnings drivers, valuation methodologies, capital markets, and investor expectations
  • Strong judgment, attention to detail, and ability to handle confidential and material non-public information
  • Exceptional problem solving, analytical, and critical thinking ability
  • Exceptional team building, leadership, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to explain financial and accounting concepts to non-financial audiences
  • Ability to influence through outstanding interpersonal skills and build collaborative relationships with, and consensus amongst, multiple stakeholders with varying points of view
  • Ability to coach, mentor, and serve as a role model for all Finance team members
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with ability to handle complex topics comfortably and to interact effectively with all levels, both verbally and written
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, highly visible, and evolving environment
