
Grant Thornton is seeking a Managing Director, Global Head of Business Enablement to join the team in Atlanta, GA.
The Global Head of Business Enablement is a senior leadership position responsible for driving the successful delivery of strategic business transformation initiatives across Grant Thornton Advisors. Initially focused on leading the firm's SAP S/4HANA program, this role will ensure business objectives, process transformation, technology implementation, organizational readiness, and operational outcomes remain aligned throughout the program lifecycle.
Reporting directly to the CIO and serving as a member of the GTech Leadership Team, the Global Head of Business Enablement will lead the firm's largest transformation initiative, overseeing program delivery, governance, budget, resource management, risk mitigation, vendor performance, and executive stakeholder engagement.
The role serves as the operational leader for the SAP program and a key advisor to executive leadership and the Steering Committee, ensuring decisions are made effectively, risks are proactively managed, and the organization remains focused on delivering measurable business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
Lead enterprise-wide business enablement initiatives that drive operational effectiveness, process modernization, and technology adoption.
Program Governance & Delivery
Own overall program execution, including scope, schedule, budget, quality, and outcomes.
Financial & Resource Management
Oversee program budgets, forecasts, vendor spend, and financial performance.
Risk & Issue Management
Establish a robust framework for managing risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies.
Executive Stakeholder Engagement
Serve as a key interface between executive leadership, business stakeholders, implementation partners, and delivery teams.
Business Readiness & Value Realization
Partner with business leaders to ensure organizational readiness, process adoption, and sustainable operational change.
Qualifications:
Required
15+ years of leadership experience managing large-scale enterprise programs and business transformation initiatives.
Preferred
SAP S/4HANA implementation leadership experience.
Professional services industry experience.
Global program leadership experience.
