Role Summary

The Managing Director, Financial Services, Account Management Asia Pacific role leads a strategic portfolio of financial services clients across APAC, with direct accountability for client satisfaction and retention, growth, profitability, and operational excellence. This role orchestrates integrated real estate solutions for major banking, insurance, and financial institutions in domestic, regional, and global markets, serving as the primary relationship owner and trusted advisor to C-suite executives.

The role requires strong leadership skills, a strong technology and AI mindset to transform operations, reduce the cost-to-serve, and build differentiated, high-margin offerings tailored to the financial services sector. You will collaborate with service line leaders across Workplace Management, Project & Development Services, Portfolio Services, Capital Markets, and Valuation to deliver seamless, enterprise-wide solutions that position JLL as the partner of choice.

Key Accountabilities

Client & Business Strategy

• Secure and retain strategic accounts through proactive relationship management and targeted retention strategies.
• Prioritize and lead critical renewals with key financial institutions, ensuring strong C-suite engagement (CFOs, COOs, Heads of Real Estate) and CRE stakeholder management.
• Expand our new business pipeline with priority regional-based institutions through targeted stakeholder mapping and executive outreach, and work with geographic business development leads to build the new business pipeline with selected domestic financial institutions.
• Develop and execute comprehensive account plans aligned with client business objectives, identifying cross-service line expansion opportunities.

Operational Excellence, Transformation & Technology

• Ensure operational excellence for the portfolio of accounts.
• Ensure the "push and pull" of the platform for standards, transformation, and compliance, and visibility of this to our clients.
• Drive operational transformation and leverage variable resourcing models and digital platforms to reduce cost-to-serve while improving quality and compliance.
• Lead the implementation of AI-focused technology programs to enhance service delivery, productivity, and decision-making.
• Embed innovation into client engagements through sector-specific case studies for a multi-X winning proposition.

People & Culture

• Build, mentor and lead cross-functional, geographically dispersed account teams, empowering talent development and high performance.
• Drive talent programs with HR to improve employee engagement and belonging, and development and retention of high-value talent.
• Train and develop AI and digital capabilities within the client-facing workforce.
• Promote global mobility to strengthen knowledge transfer and career pathways.

Sales, Growth & Market Presence

• Accountable for the P&L, Fee Revenue, and margin year-on-year growth, client satisfaction (NPS), and operational KPIs.
• Accelerate growth in higher-margin offerings aligned with client spend priorities.
• Represent JLL at industry forums, client events, and market-facing activities to enhance brand presence and establish thought leadership.
• Participate in the Global Financial Services Division (virtual) forums.

Skills & Competencies

Leadership & Strategic Mindset

• Strategic vision balanced with hands-on execution—able to shape long-term strategy while managing day-to-day client needs.
• Proven success managing large, complex client relationships in banking, insurance, or financial services.
• Strong commercial acumen with track record of driving revenue growth and achieving ambitious financial targets.

Technology & AI Orientation

• Experience implementing client service innovations, transformational real estate programs, or technology platforms.
• Appetite to leverage AI, data analytics, and digital tools (e.g., Corrigo) to modernize operations and create client value.

Operational Competence

• Highly operationally competent with a willingness to engage in the granular detail of service delivery.
• Hands-on approach to problem-solving, process optimization, and risk mitigation in regulated environments.

Other Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in commercial real estate, corporate real estate, or professional services.
• Extensive APAC market experience with cultural fluency and established networks across multiple markets.
• Self-motivated, driven, and people and customer-centric.
• Exceptional executive presence and communication skills; able to build trust with C-suite stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to lead matrixed, geographically dispersed teams in a collaborative "One JLL" environment.
