International industrial company with global operations is seeking a Managing Director Finance & Governance for its operations in Querétaro, Mexico.

This executive position will play a key role in the financial leadership, governance structure, and strategic development of the local operation while working closely with international leadership teams.

The ideal candidate combines strong financial expertise with leadership capabilities in dynamic industrial environments and is able to build scalable structures, drive performance, and support sustainable growth.

Requirements

• Senior leadership experience in finance, controlling, commercial management, or general management within an industrial environment
• Proven experience managing P&L responsibilities and financial performance

Strong knowledge of:

• Financial reporting
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Controlling
• Cash flow and liquidity management
• Internal controls and governance

• Experience leading teams and developing organizational structures
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
• Experience in transformation, growth, or scaling environments is highly valued
• Ability to work effectively in international and multicultural environments
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Spanish and English required
• German is considered an advantage
• Structured, reliable, and hands-on leadership style

Main Responsibilities

• Co-lead the local operation together with the operational leadership team
• Support organizational growth, operational development, and process optimization
• Lead the financial and commercial management of the operation, including:
• P&L management
• Cost control
• Financial reporting
• Forecasting and planning
• Cash flow and liquidity management
• Develop and strengthen local finance, governance, and administrative structures
• Implement internal controls, reporting standards, and decision-making processes
• Drive risk management initiatives across financial, commercial, and operational areas
• Prepare management reports and business insights for international stakeholders
• Ensure compliance, transparency, and reliable financial information
