To solve the world's most pressing problems, tomorrow’s problem-solvers must be equipped with STEM knowledge, skills, and agency. To get there, students need excellent, representative educators to guide them.
Beyond100K (formerly 100Kin10) serves as a powerful national hub and "field catalyst," mobilizing a diverse network of hundreds of leading organizations to tackle the systemic challenges underlying the national STEM teacher shortage. Through intentional collaboration, focused convenings, and research & resource-sharing, we strategically remove barriers to collaboration, helping key players across the education ecosystem align efforts and scale innovations to achieve lasting, field-wide transformation.
Our unique, networked-impact approach has driven measurable, large-scale progress across the country:
While we have recruited and prepared more educators than once thought possible, systemic cracks remain: too many teachers are leaving the profession because the current environment is unsustainable, and too many students of color are excluded from inspiring STEM opportunities.
By 2043, our moonshot goal is to completely end the STEM teacher shortage. We are centering our efforts on schools and communities—specifically Black, Latinx, and Indigenous spaces—where the shortage has been the hardest to solve. By anchoring our work in equity, representation, and belonging, we are mobilizing a movement to ensure every child can contribute their spark to a brighter future.
We are seeking an exceptional operational leader with expertise in network strategy to serve as the Managing Director of Beyond100K. This is a newly created senior leadership role that will serve in critical internal and external capacities, designed to strengthen our team and accelerate our impact.
