[What you will be working on]

  • Assist and advise businesses on GST registration, cancellation and scheme applications.
  • Conduct thorough reviews through desk checks, field visits and interviews to prevent fraudulent GST applications.
  • Analyse and use data to uncover insights, enhance fraud detection capabilities and improve operational processes.
  • Identify and acquire new datasets to strengthen risk assessment for GST registration and scheme applications.
  • Leverage technological solutions (e.g., RPA, Python, GenAI) and structured methodologies (e.g., Behavioural Insights and Design) to streamline work processes and optimize the end-to-end GST registration process and other project-based initiatives.
  • Support the development, testing, and implementation of GenAI-enabled solutions to improve GST registration and work processes.
  • Provide inputs to educational materials to promote voluntary compliance.

[What we are looking for]

  • Degree in Tax, Accountancy or Business preferred.
  • Knowledge in GST and/or minimum one year of audit/tax experience will be an advantage.
  • Demonstrates interest in emerging technologies, particularly artificial intelligence, and data analytics.
  • Programming knowledge in SAS, Phyton, and/or SQL is an advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with excellent verbal and written .communications skills.
  • Good time management skills with ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Logical, organised and systematic in handling and analysing information/data.
  • Strong analytical skills with capability to question and probe effectively.
  • Resourceful and able to work independently in a team environment.
