Job Description

[What the role is]

The candidate will contribute towards optimisation of SSG’s digital portals and digital engagement, designed to enable Singaporeans in planning their lifelong learning journeys. This function requires product strategy, application of data-driven insights and hands-on technical engagement to deliver meaningful user outcomes.

[What you will be working on]

The candidate will be required to perform the following key tasks as assigned by his/her supervisor(s):

  • Contribute to the development of product roadmap, prioritising initiatives based on user needs, business objectives, and technical feasibility

  • Define and track product success metrics, including user engagement, conversion funnels, and retention, to inform iteration and decision-making

  • Partner with the development team to review front-end tech stack and assess code quality, ensuring portal performance and maintainability

  • Propose and validate recommendations for feature enhancements, supported by UX assessments, user research, and usability testing

  • Work closely across teams with internal and external project managers and stakeholders to deliver improvements in a structured, iterative manner

  • Ability to create simple design prototypes to facilitate communication and alignment of proposed enhancements is a plus

[What we are looking for]

  • Has at least 3 years of experience in digital product management, business analysis, UX/UI design, and/or web development

  • Demonstrated experience as a product owner or business owner in cross-functional agile teams, with the ability to drive a product from ideation through to delivery

  • Strong ability to define product vision, manage a backlog, and make prioritisation decisions that balance user value, business impact, and technical constraints

  • Proficient in analysing qualitative and quantitative data to surface actionable insights and measure product outcomes

  • Has working knowledge of front-end programming languages and frameworks, with the ability to engage meaningfully in code reviews and technical discussions with developers

  • Ability to take a user-centric approach in product audit and development of product roadmap, to identify value-add to key user segments

  • A collaborative team player with strong attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure

Knowledge of the following tools are a plus:

  • Web analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics, and SQL for data querying

  • UI design tools such as Figma

  • Artificial intelligence tools for classification, content personalisation, or productivity enhancement

Successful candidates will be offered a 1-year contract with potential for a 1-year extension and consideration for permanent tenure thereafter
