Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain end-to-end data flows, data lineage, transformation mappings, and data dictionaries.
• Identify and map key data elements (KDEs) to regulatory and management reporting requirements.
• Standardize data definitions, metadata, and business rules to ensure consistency and traceability.
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops with business, reporting, IT teams, and vendors to validate data requirements and lineage.
• Assess data quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive remediation actions.
• Design and implement data quality controls, including validations, reconciliations, exception monitoring, and quality checkpoints.
• Establish and validate end-to-end data lineage across sourcing, transformation, aggregation, and reporting processes.
• Assess data governance, lineage, and quality practices against BCBS 239 and organizational standards.
• Evaluate data quality across completeness, accuracy, timeliness, consistency, and traceability dimensions.
• Conduct BCBS 239 gap assessments and recommend remediation plans and governance improvements.
• Support regulatory reviews, audits, and governance assessments through documentation and evidence preparation.
• Define and monitor data governance KPIs, data quality metrics, issue management processes, and control effectiveness.
• Support the implementation of data governance, data lineage, and data quality frameworks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to drive governance initiatives, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Finance, Business, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in Data Governance, Data Management, or related roles within banking or financial services.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory reporting, risk management, and data governance practices.
• Good understanding of BCBS 239, RDARR, and enterprise data governance frameworks.
• Experience in data lineage, data dictionaries, metadata management, and data quality frameworks.
• Proven experience in BCBS 239 assessments, regulatory remediation, control reviews, or governance transformation initiatives.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to trace, document, and analyze data flows, transformations, and lineage across systems.
• Experience assessing data quality across completeness, accuracy, timeliness, consistency, and traceability dimensions.
• Ability to translate regulatory and business requirements into governance controls and implementation roadmaps.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, documentation, and presentation skills.
• Experience with data governance tools such as Collibra, Informatica, Alation, or similar platforms is advantageous.
• Knowledge of MAS regulatory reporting requirements and banking data structures is preferred.
• Prior experience in financial data governance, regulatory/risk reporting, or enterprise data management is advantageous.
• Familiarity with data quality management, issue remediation, control monitoring, and governance reporting frameworks is preferred.
• Relevant certifications in Data Governance, Data Management, Risk Management, or Banking Regulations are advantageous.
