Job Description

To drive tactical and operational automation initiatives across Group Operations by enabling and sustaining automation tools, digital workflows, and reconciliation platforms. The role will focus on ensuring platform effectiveness, supporting tool deployments, facilitating automation adoption across verticals, and working closely with operations SMEs and GRC teams to track, maintain, and evolve the automation ecosystem, within Central Reconciliation Unit deliverables.

Key Result Areas :--

• Automation Deployment Support: Assist in rollout and stabilization of automation tools/platforms (Cypher AI, DoneZie etc.) across business units.
• User Adoption & Training: Work closely with Ops teams to ensure training, onboarding, and usage of tools are consistent and tracked.
• Platform Ownership & Enhancement: Coordinate with vendors and Tech for platform enhancements, issue resolution, and roadmap alignment.
• Benefit Tracking & Realization: Support the Lead in documenting automation benefits (FTE savings, error reduction, turnaround improvements).
• Process Documentation & Controls: Collaborate with GRC and internal control teams to align automation outcomes with control environment requirements.
• Analytics & Reporting: Provide data-driven insights and monthly automation scorecards across operating units.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience: --

• 8+ years of experience in banking operations, preferably with exposure to automation tools, platform governance, or operational excellence roles.
• Sound understanding of process automation technologies, reconciliation platforms, workflow engines, and risk-based controls.
• Strong project coordination and stakeholder management skills.
• Hands-on experience with data reporting, Excel, PowerPoint, and ideally tools like Power BI, Tableau, or automation management systems.
• High degree of initiative, structured thinking, and comfort with cross-functional collaboration.
• Strong communication skills for both training and governance-level reporting.
