Full time- Max Term Contract -24 months

BaptistCare In Home Care team supports hundreds of older Victorians to live well in their own homes — and the quality of that experience depends heavily on the people rostered to show up at the right door, at the right time. As Manager Workforce Scheduling and Optimisation, you'll be the operational backbone that makes that possible.

About Us

BaptistCare is a leading purpose-led care organisation, guided by our Christian identity and serving people and communities across Australia for more than 110 years. We support people to live better through aged care, home care, retirement living, community services, disability support and housing.

We know that life’s challenges can make our world feel smaller. With the right people alongside us, it can feel more connected, supported and hopeful again.

That’s what we work towards every day - enriching lives through communities of care. Today, more than 70,000 customers, 12,000 employees and close to 2,000 volunteers are part of our communities across Australia.

What You'll Lead

  • Oversee end-to-end scheduling operations for a large, geographically dispersed home care workforce across metropolitan and regional Victoria
  • Design and continuously improve rostering frameworks that balance client continuity, award compliance, and workforce sustainability
  • Lead and develop a team of scheduling coordinators, setting standards for responsiveness and accuracy
  • Partner with In Home Care leadership to translate service growth and changing client needs into workforce capacity plans

What You'll Bring

  • Demonstrated experience managing workforce scheduling in a home care, disability, or similarly complex care environment
  • Strong working knowledge of the Home Care Workforce Award or relevant enterprise agreements
  • Proven ability to lead a scheduling or rostering team through periods of growth or change
  • Competence with scheduling or workforce management technology; experience with platforms used in aged or home care is highly regarded
  • An analytical approach to identifying inefficiencies and building practical, people-centred solutions
  • Understanding of how scheduling decisions affect client outcomes — not just operational metrics
