  • Base Salary $126,065 - $142,171 + 17% superannuation

About the opportunity

The Manager, Workforce Planning provides strategic leadership of workforce planning and operational coordination within a large student services environment. Working across a complex portfolio, the role drives demand-based resourcing, optimises rostering approaches, and delivers insights that inform senior decision-making. This is a key role influencing workforce strategy to support consistent, high-quality service delivery and operational performance.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • work closely with senior stakeholders and operational leaders to align workforce strategy with service demand

  • lead portfolio-wide workforce planning, including rostering strategy and resource optimisation

  • oversee scheduling and operational support services to ensure consistency, quality, and efficiency

  • deliver advanced reporting and analytics to inform strategic and operational decision-making

  • manage workforce-related financials including budgeting, forecasting, and expenditure oversight

  • lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance workforce planning processes and service delivery

About you

  • demonstrated experience in workforce planning, rostering, and operational leadership in a complex environment

  • proven ability to develop and implement workforce strategies using data, analytics, and demand-driven models

  • experience managing cross-functional budgets, financial forecasting, and workforce-related expenditure

  • strong understanding of student administration processes and systems within a tertiary environment

  • experience leading reporting and analytics functions to support strategic decision-making

  • relevant tertiary qualification or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
