Job Description

The Manager, Video Production will ensure that all video projects are accounted for and produced on time. You will also collaborate with the digital marketing and creative teams to create dynamic content for multiple platforms. You will shoot (matches, practices and events), edit (highlights, social content, paid advertising) and produce a high volume of projects throughout the year. This position will report to the Director of Video Production.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day responsibilities of the video production team by assessing requests, assigning projects and ensuring that each video is produced and delivered on time.
  • Conceptualize and create dynamic video content for multiple platforms, including Nashville SC social channels, the Nashville SC YouTube channel and MLS Season Pass on Apple TV, that aligns with organizational messaging.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Video to advance and elevate the Nashville SC video brand

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4-5 years of video production experience.
  • Previous management experience preferred but not required.
  • Ability to teach and guide video producers through the full video production process.
  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects.
  • Advanced knowledge of DSLR and cinema cameras.
  • Advanced understanding of the principles of cinematography: composition, lighting and framing.
  • Advanced experience producing videos in a fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding of the social media landscape and the ability to analyze social media content from an analytical perspective.
  • Ability to be a team player, contribute ideas and thrive in a collaborative, creative environment.
  • Willingness to contribute creative ideas and experiment with various cinematic styles.
  • Understanding of the traditional story arc and ability to edit a piece through the viewer/fan perspective.
  • Available to work matches and events on select nights and weekends.

Nashville SC joined Major League Soccer on Feb. 29, 2020 in front of the largest attendance ever recorded for a soccer match in the state of Tennessee. In its inaugural MLS season, Nashville SC defied expectations by becoming the second MLS expansion side to win and advance to the Conference Semifinals in the 2020 Audi MLS Cup Playoffs.
