As a Supply Chain Vendor Management Manager, you’ll lead the development and optimization of StandardAero’s supplier network, ensuring high-quality, cost-effective, and reliable sourcing solutions. You will work cross-functionally to manage supplier performance, mitigate risk, and drive continuous improvement while ensuring compliance with aerospace quality and regulatory standards

What you’ll do:

  • Lead supplier sourcing activities including RFQs/RFPs, negotiations, and contract management to achieve optimal total cost of ownership
  • Evaluate and expand the supplier network to support evolving Business Unit requirements
  • Develop and implement supplier scorecards to monitor performance across quality, cost, and turnaround time (TAT)
  • Manage supplier relationships, including performance reviews, issue resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Identify and execute cost reduction and process efficiency opportunities across supplier spend categories
  • Use spend analytics and market intelligence to build and maintain strategic sourcing pipelines
  • Collaborate with Business Units, Engineering, Quality, Finance, and Legal to ensure alignment with operational and compliance requirements
  • Support supplier risk management activities, including capacity planning, dual sourcing, and business continuity strategies
  • Ensure compliance with aerospace regulations, contractual obligations, and company standards
  • Contribute to enterprise supply chain initiatives related to optimization, digital transformation, and operational excellence

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in supplier/vendor management, sourcing, or procurement within an aerospace or regulated manufacturing environment
  • Proven experience managing supplier performance, contracts, and negotiations, with documented outcomes
  • Demonstrated success in developing sourcing strategies that deliver measurable cost savings and TAT improvements
  • Experience working with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and sourcing tools
  • Experience analyzing supplier performance data to identify gaps and implement corrective actions that improve performance
  • Must be authorized to work in the country where the position is based

Desired Skills

  • Experience working with aerospace OEMs, Tier 1 or Tier 2 suppliers
  • Familiarity with FAA, EASA, ITAR, and export control regulations
  • Professional certifications such as APICS CSCP, CPSM, or Six Sigma Green Belt
  • Experience managing global suppliers and long lead-time supply chains
  • Strong risk management and supplier development experience
  • Ability to lead cross-functional collaboration and influence stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving skills using structured methodologies (e.g., root cause analysis, 8D)
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities in a regulated environment
