Core Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end execution of upgrade projects for offshore jack-up drilling systems, ensuring delivery within scope, schedule, and budget.
- Engage clients proactively to understand upgrade requirements and translate them into clear, structured execution plans.
- Work closely with the technical/engineering team to align on solution design and ensure practical, execution-ready deliverables.
- Develop comprehensive projects plans covering engineering, procurement, logistics, installation, testing, and commissioning phases.
- Coordinate internal cross-functional teams (engineering, procurement, logistics, finance) and external stakeholders (clients, vendors, subcontractors).
- Drive project kick-off meetings, progress reviews, and status updates with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Identify project risks early and implement mitigation measures to ensure smooth execution.
Project Execution & Delivery
- Plan and manage resource allocation (manpower, tools, subcontractors) for both onshore and offshore activities.
- Ensure timely procurement and delivery of essential parts, components, and materials aligned with project schedules.
- Monitor fabrications and assembly progress, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and quality standards.
- Oversee site execution, ensuring adherence to safety, operational, and client requirements.
- Ensure Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and integration tests are planned and conducted where required, with proper documentation and client sign-off.
- Support offshore mobilization, installation, testing, and commissioning activities where applicable.
- Ensure proper project documentation, reporting, and close-out, including lessons learned.
Client and Commercial Interface
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients during execution, maintaining strong working relationships.
- Provide regular updates on projects progress, challenges, and mitigation actions.
- Support commercial discussions related to variations, change orders, and additional scope.
- Ensure high client satisfaction through reliable delivery and proactive communication.
Spare Parts and Warehouse Management
- Oversee spare parts planning and management in support of upgrade projects and aftermarket services.
- Work with procurement and logistics team to optimize spare parts availability and minimize downtime risks.
- Ensure proper inventory planning, stocking levels, and tracking of critical components.
- Implement efficient warehouse management practices, including storage, handling, and traceability of parts.
- Coordinate with regional warehouses (SG,ME,etc.) to support project and service requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement in parts management processes, including cost optimization and lead time reduction.
Compliance, Quality and Safety
- Ensure all project activities comply with company standards, industry codes, and classification society requirements (e.g., ABS).
- Enforce quality control processes throughout execution, including inspections and testing.
- Promote and uphold strong safety culture across all project activities, both onshore and offshore.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Possess Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Offshore or related discipline.
- At least 10 years of relevant experiences in related field.
- Strong experience in offshore systems, preferably jack-up rig equipment (e.g., jacking systems, cranes).
- Proven track record in project management and execution of upgrade or retrofit projects.
- Strong client-facing skills with ability to translate technical solutions into executable plans.
- Experience in resource planning, logistics coordination, and supply chain management.
- Familiarity with FAT, commissioning, and offshore installation processes.
- Knowledge of spare parts management and warehouse operations is an added advantage.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Willingness to travel offshore and internationally as required.

Monday – Thursday: 8:00am – 5.15pm
Friday: 8:00am – 4.30pm
