Your role:

Zanders is an independent consultancy specializing in treasury, risk and technology, working with corporates, financial institutions and public sector organisations across more than fifteen countries. Treasury technology sits at the centre of that work — and as demand grows, we are looking for a Manager to lead client engagements and help shape the practice.

In this role you will own treasury technology engagements end to end: advising clients on their technology landscape, leading selection and implementation projects, and taking accountability for delivery, quality and budget. You will also lead the consultants working with you — setting direction, delegating, and supporting their development — and contribute to the growth of the practice through client relationships and business development.

You will join a team of experienced consultants who work collaboratively across offices, share expertise openly, and are given real ownership of client relationships. Zanders ensures that the work you take on is shaped by what you are ready for, not by how long you have been here.

Your background will be in corporate treasury or treasury consulting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise clients on their treasury technology landscape — redefining current practices, shaping long-term technology roadmaps, supporting vendor selection and leading implementations.

• Lead treasury advisory projects from start to finish, ensuring deliverables meet quality standards, agreed timelines and engagement terms.

• Set and manage project budgets, and keep scope, risk and stakeholder expectations aligned throughout delivery.

• Build alignment across client stakeholders — treasury, finance, IT and vendors — and secure buy-in for the recommended direction.

• Lead and develop the consultants on your projects: set clear direction, delegate effectively and support their growth.

• Safeguard a healthy workload across the project team and support colleagues' well-being.

• Manage client accounts and identify new business and project opportunities, both locally and internationally.

• Contribute to commercial activities including proposals, RFPs, client presentations, events and networking.

• Identify where subject matter expertise is needed and bring in the right colleagues from across the firm.

• Track treasury technology developments and translate them into practical advice for clients.

• Host and contribute to knowledge sessions — treasury boot camps, guest lectures and internal training.

• Contribute to internal initiatives that strengthen collaboration and an inclusive team culture across our global offices.

Skills to be successful

Essential

• Five to eight years in corporate treasury or treasury consulting.

• Hands-on experience implementing treasury management systems — SAP, FIS, ION, Kyriba or comparable — and related tools such as SWIFT.

• Working knowledge across treasury management, in-house banking, payment factories and bank connectivity.

• A track record of leading projects to delivery, applying a structured approach to scope, budget and risk.

• Experience guiding or developing less experienced colleagues — through project leadership, mentoring or line management.

• Fluent English, and willingness to travel to client sites.

Also valuable

• A professional qualification such as CFA, ACT or FRM, or a relevant Master's degree.

• Experience identifying and converting new business opportunities.

• Formal line management experience.

• Additional European languages.
