We are seeking an experienced Finance professional to lead the design, governance, and deployment of Treasury, Cash Management, Banking, Intercompany, and Foreign Currency Valuation capabilities across SAP S/4HANA and Central Finance programs.
The role serves as the Finance subject matter expert for Treasury and Intercompany processes, partnering with Finance, Tax, GCC, Internal Controls, and IT teams to deliver standardized, scalable, and compliant solutions across global deployments.
The individual will be responsible for defining business requirements, validating solution designs, supporting testing activities, and ensuring successful deployment and adoption of Treasury, Banking, Intercompany, and Foreign Currency Valuation processes.
Responsibilities (Duties that must be performed on a regular basis)
- Lead the design and deployment of Treasury, Cash Management, Bank Accounting, Intercompany, and Foreign Currency Valuation processes.
- Define business requirements and drive process standardization across regions.
- Partner with IT and implementation teams to ensure solutions meet business and accounting requirements.
- Govern Treasury and Intercompany master data, process standards, and control requirements.
- Support the design and validation of bank account structures, house banks, payment processes, liquidity management, cash reporting, and cash pooling structures.
- Own the design, governance, and deployment of Foreign Currency Valuation processes, ensuring alignment with global accounting standards, Treasury requirements, and SAP best practices.
- Provide expertise on cash pooling strategies, liquidity optimization, and banking structures across multiple countries.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, audit requirements, and statutory obligations.
- Facilitate solution design workshops and support key business decisions.
- Coordinate testing activities, defect resolution, and business sign-offs.
- Support deployment, hypercare, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with Core Accounting, Group Reporting, Tax, Transaction Processing (Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable), and GCC teams to ensure end-to-end process integration.
- Demonstrate flexibility to support global deployments and stakeholders across multiple time zones and regions.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in Treasury, Cash Management, Intercompany Accounting, Corporate Finance, or related Finance functions.
- Strong understanding of banking processes, cash management, liquidity planning, payment processes, foreign currency valuation, and intercompany accounting.
- Experience with cash pooling structures, liquidity management, and banking relationship management preferred.
- Experience with SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA Treasury and Cash Management solutions.
- Experience supporting Finance Transformation or ERP implementation projects.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a global and cross-functional environment.
- Experience working within a multinational organization preferred.
- Flexibility to travel internationally and support global teams across multiple time zones as required.
- Good to have: Experience with ALM or equivalent test management and defect tracking tools supporting testing, deployment, and project delivery activities.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
