Are you ready to lead transformative change? EXL is seeking an experienced Transitions Manager to drive end-to-end platform transitions for global clients using Agile methodologies.

The Transitions Lead will be responsible for overseeing the successful migration and transition of platforms for EXL clients from existing legacy systems to EXL platforms. The roles involves planning, coordination, and management of transition activities, ensuring smooth implementation and service delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in BPO operations, project management, platform migration/ integration, and experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment, collaborating with both onshore clients and offshore teams

* Build strong relationships with business leaders and stakeholders to define vision, scope, and deliverables.
* Lead planning, execution, and post go-live support for platform transitions.
* Collaborate across enterprise teams to showcase business value and integrate EXL’s cutting-edge solutions—automation, analytics, and process re-engineering.
* Manage sprint backlogs, timelines, and resource strategies.
* Ensure compliance, governance, and risk management throughout the transition lifecycle.
* Stay ahead of emerging technologies like Generative AI, machine learning, and dynamic analytics.

Requirements:
* 10+ years of experience, including 8+ years in project management
* Ability to package and present solutions effectively.
* PMP/PRINCE2 certifications are a plus.
* Willingness to work in a 24x7 environment and travel as needed.

  • To communicate effectively for additional information as needed by providers
  • Perform accurate data entry
  • Perform eligibility and benefit verification
  • Create effective, grammatically correct and compliant written communications and demonstrate effective listening and soft skills, engaging in effective dialogue through proper, clear, and effective verbal communication
  1. Build relationships with key business leaders and sponsors other stakeholders to drive uptake of Transition projects, define project vision, scope, requirements, and deliverables
  2. Lead end-to-end platform for EXL clients, including planning, execution and post go-live support using Agile methodologies
  3. Successfully collaborate with core and extended teams across the enterprise for transition of existing platform to EXL platforms, showcasing and articulating the business case and value proposition
  4. Develop and manage sprint backlogs, project plans, timelines and resource allocation strategies for each transition
  5. Create best in class products by integrating EXL’s product footprint and investments – automation, process simulation, re-engineering, domain expertise, analytics etc
  6. Ensure compliance with service level agreements and manage any risks or issues that may arise the transition process, using Agile risk management frameworks
  7. Responsible for maintaining the governance and reporting on projects to Business units, Leadership, clients and delivering project requirements within allocated budgets
  8. Maintain awareness of new and emerging operating practices, technologies such as GenerativeAI, machine learning, mobility, and dynamic analytics and the potential application on new platforms
  9. Managing client visits for prospects, existing clients with respect to new platform deployment
  10. Providing transition solutions and roadmaps for new deals / pursuits
  11. Contribution of creation of showcase content, though leadership white papers, collaterals

Updates job knowledge by studying state-of-the-art tools, technologies, reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks

  • 12+ years of overall experience including 8+ years of project management experience with demonstrated success and financial results in Platform deployment/transitions
  • Proven ability to drive a solution from start to finish (project management certifications are a plus)
  • Experience in Insurance or healthcare domain will be given strong preference
  • Experience of packaging and showcasing capabilities and solutions
  • Willing to work in 24X7 environment
