This position requires you to be working in office, 3 days per week, from our Bala Cynwyd, PA office.
The Training Manager is responsible for leading the delivery of training that drives performance across Pep Boys store and field operations. This role oversees a team of field trainers and ensures consistent, high-quality execution of training programs focused on sales, customer experience, and core operational processes.
The Training Manager partners closely with Operations, Training Design, and key business stakeholders to ensure training is practical, relevant, and aligned to business priorities. This role is accountable for how training shows up in the field, ensuring it is delivered effectively, reinforced through application, and continuously improved based on feedback and results.

People Management
This position is responsible for the direct management of Field Trainers of approximately 4– 8 direct reports, with span of control varying based on regional coverage, business needs, and trainer deployment model.
Responsibilities include hiring, onboarding, performance management, coaching, and development of Field Trainers to ensure consistent, high-quality training delivery across all assigned markets. The Training Manager is accountable for building trainer capability, reinforcing delivery standards, and ensuring alignment to business priorities.
