
[What the role is]
The job holder will be part of a dynamic HR team responsible to build and strengthen the performance and total rewards strategies and plans for officers in the Singapore Food Agency (SFA). The team manages performance management and total rewards to ensure that officers are motivated to maximise their performance and potential with SFA.
[What you will be working on]
The job scope will be as follows:
Collaborate with senior leadership to develop or review HR policies and initiatives to develop and retain high performing officers, so that they are able to achieve their fullest potential in line with organisational objectives.
Develop, review and implement robust performance management framework, policies, and processes, that drive employee engagement, development and organisational performance. Manage the end-to-end for annual performance appraisal cycle, as well as ranking and promotion exercise. Oversee and ensure accurate and timely payment of annual performance bonus and merit increment.
Develop, review and implement compensation related policies, frameworks and processes. Conduct regular salary reviews and benchmarking studies to develop SFA’s reward strategies and policies, while ensuring that they remain market competitive and effective in attracting, motivating and retaining employees.

Requirements
Relevant work experience in the field of compensation & benefits and/or performance management in the government sector
Strong conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent interpersonal, communication and writing skills
Ability to engage and establish rapport with stakeholders, senior management and contributors at all levels of the organisation
Ability to work independently and in a team
Meticulous, resourceful and able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
