What’s the role?
You’ll join Westpac’s Transaction Monitoring & Analytics team, helping strengthen the way we identify and respond to financial crime risks. You’ll provide specialist advice on transaction monitoring and work closely with Financial Crime Compliance, Operations, Risk and project teams to keep our detection capabilities effective and aligned with regulatory obligations.
In this role, you’ll help design and refine transaction monitoring rules, assess new financial crime risk indicators and review the impact of proposed changes. You’ll also support the governance of the Transaction Monitoring Program by maintaining clear documentation, registers and workflows.
You’ll bring teams together to review controls, identify practical improvements and support changes from development through to implementation. This is an opportunity to use your financial crime knowledge, analytical thinking and stakeholder skills to make a meaningful contribution to how Westpac protects its customers and the wider community.
This is a fulltime/permanent role based in Sydney
