Do things differently with us

This is an opportunity to play an important role in how Great Southern Bank manages the external partners and service providers that support our customers and operations.

You'll be part of our Third Party Management team, working across the business to ensure supplier relationships are well managed, risks are understood and service providers deliver on their commitments. From monitoring performance and resolving issues to supporting contract renewals and regulatory compliance, you'll be involved in both the strategic and day-to-day activities that keep our third-party relationships running effectively.

We're looking for someone who enjoys building relationships, solving problems and bringing structure to complex processes. You'll need to be comfortable working through the detail, following up with stakeholders and taking ownership of the governance and administration that supports effective supplier management.

If you're someone who enjoys balancing relationship management, commercial considerations and risk, while finding better ways of working, you'll thrive here.

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • At least 3 years' experience in third-party management, supplier or vendor management, procurement, contract governance or operational risk.
  • Strong understanding of contract management, supplier performance monitoring and third-party risk assessment.
  • Experience building effective relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to resolve issues and improve outcomes.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with experience maintaining contracts, risk registers, compliance records or governance documentation.
  • The ability to manage multiple supplier relationships, competing priorities and deadlines while maintaining a strong focus on delivery.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach, with the confidence to identify risks, challenge constructively and drive improvements.
  • Familiarity with APRA CPS 230, operational resilience or third-party risk management frameworks (desirable).
  • Experience within financial services or another regulated industry (desirable).
  • A qualification in Business or a related discipline, with additional certifications in procurement, contract management or risk management highly regarded.
