This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Manager, Territory Sales based in Canada.
This role is responsible for driving revenue growth and sales demand across a portfolio of regional customer accounts.
You will build trusted relationships with key stakeholders and develop a strong understanding of their business needs and priorities.
The position combines strategic account planning with hands-on sales execution, forecasting, merchandising, and promotional planning.
You will identify new opportunities, develop account-specific strategies, and guide initiatives from planning through execution.
Working closely with marketing and retail partners, you will help maximize product visibility, sales performance, and customer engagement.
The role is ideal for a commercially driven professional who thrives in a fast-moving consumer electronics environment.
Success will be measured through revenue and profit performance, pipeline development, and the ability to create sustainable sales growth.
Accountabilities
- Build and grow sales across assigned regional accounts, taking ownership of revenue generation and territory performance.
- Develop and maintain multi-level relationships with new and existing customers, becoming a trusted advisor who understands their business objectives and requirements.
- Build, manage, and continuously advance an opportunity pipeline by identifying customer needs and developing appropriate solutions.
- Meet regularly with customers to communicate business priorities, industry trends, product opportunities, and strategic initiatives.
- Develop account-specific and territory plans, reviewing and adjusting them regularly to maximize sales opportunities.
- Partner with marketing teams to plan SKU listings, sales targets, budgets, advertising, promotions, and other account initiatives.
- Gather and manage weekly product forecasts by model and dealer, ensuring inventory plans align with promotional calendars and account requirements.
- Coordinate promotional calendars, SKU schedules, and related activities to minimize account-to-account friction and improve execution.
- Collaborate with customers on joint business planning, brand management, in-store merchandising, retail execution, and sales initiatives.
- Provide in-store support, including regular store visits, product support, and training activities.
- Control territory-related sales expenses in accordance with established company guidelines.
- Successfully complete required certifications and training within established timelines.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams and customer stakeholders to deliver territory objectives and sales programs.
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience, preferably within the consumer electronics industry or a comparable fast-moving sales environment.
- Bachelor’s degree or other college/university education preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in relationship-based selling and developing strategic customer relationships within an assigned territory.
- Proven ability to generate and close new business with limited management intervention.
- Strong understanding of sales planning, account management, forecasting, promotions, and retail execution.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other standard business productivity tools.
- Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and manage multiple opportunities and programs simultaneously in a rapidly changing industry.
- Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively through meetings, presentations, email, and written reports.
- Ability to develop account-specific and territory strategies that support quarterly and long-term sales objectives.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to use customer and sales information to make informed decisions.
- Self-motivated, energetic, resilient, and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team.
- Strong commercial judgment and the ability to build productive relationships with customers, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
