Our Finance Technology team serves as the foundation for enterprise financial data governance and Oracle Fusion operations. We partner with Accounting, Finance, and IT leaders across Lifepoint Health to support chart of accounts governance, financial master data management, ERP transformation initiatives, and data-driven decision making. This role offers the opportunity to influence how financial data is structured, governed, and utilized across a complex healthcare organization.
How you’ll contribute
A Manager who excels in this role:
Lead and develop the LBS Technology Finance Function Support team, providing direction, coaching, workload prioritization, and performance management while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Oversee day-to-day production support for Oracle Fusion Finance applications, ensuring timely resolution of system issues, service requests, and production incidents while maintaining operational stability.
Partner closely with Finance leadership, Finance Operations, IT, and facility stakeholders to understand business needs, prioritize work, and deliver technology solutions that support organizational objectives.
Manage and prioritize enhancement requests, balancing operational support with strategic initiatives, system optimization efforts, and long-term Finance transformation goals.
Serve as the primary liaison for Finance application vendors and managed service partners, overseeing vendor performance, coordinating escalations, and ensuring successful service delivery.
Lead application testing efforts for system upgrades, patches, enhancements, and new functionality, ensuring thorough validation and minimal disruption to business operations.
Collaborate with Release Management, Data & Integration teams, and Finance stakeholders to support seamless application deployments and enterprise-wide technology initiatives.
Support Oracle Fusion Finance optimization efforts across General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, and related financial modules.
Partner with Finance and technical teams to maintain application configuration, security, data integrity, and system performance while ensuring alignment with business requirements.
Drive continuous process improvement by identifying automation opportunities, streamlining support processes, and implementing best practices that improve efficiency and user experience.
Lead and support strategic Finance initiatives, including ERP optimization, Finance transformation projects, Oracle EPM (FCCS/ARCS) support, AI-enabled Accounts Payable initiatives, payment modernization efforts, and future enterprise implementations.
Build strong relationships with business leaders and stakeholders by providing consultative guidance, communicating effectively, and influencing decisions across cross-functional teams.
Develop and deliver end-user training, documentation, and knowledge-sharing materials to improve system adoption and support effectiveness.
Ensure compliance with organizational policies, security standards, healthcare regulations, and internal governance requirements.
Monitor support metrics, identify trends, and implement improvements that enhance service quality, system reliability, and customer satisfaction.
What we’re looking for
Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Additional qualifications include:
Required Experience
8+ years of experience supporting enterprise Finance applications, ERP systems, Finance technology, Oracle applications, or related information technology functions.
3+ years of leadership experience managing technical teams, assigning work, coaching employees, and driving team performance.
Strong functional knowledge of Oracle Fusion Finance or a comparable enterprise ERP platform supporting financial operations.
Experience supporting Finance business processes, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, and related financial workflows.
Experience managing production support environments, troubleshooting complex application issues, and maintaining system stability.
Demonstrated experience partnering with Finance business leaders to translate operational needs into technology solutions.
Experience leading application testing, system upgrades, releases, enhancements, and implementation activities.
Experience managing vendor relationships, support partners, and service escalations.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities while balancing operational support with strategic project delivery.
Strong communication, collaboration, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in a related field.
Oracle Fusion Finance implementation, support, or optimization experience.
Experience with Oracle EPM applications, including Financial Consolidation & Close (FCCS) and Account Reconciliation Cloud Service (ARCS).
Healthcare industry experience.
Experience supporting shared services organizations.
Experience leading large-scale ERP transformation or Finance modernization initiatives.
Experience with managed service providers and vendor governance.
Knowledge of ERP integrations, financial reporting platforms, and enterprise data interfaces.
Experience driving automation, process improvement, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Salary Range: $89,937 - $124,563 per year.
