As the Manager – Advanced Technology, you will lead the Residential Engineering Compressor Technology team, cultivating an inclusive and high-performing environment that encourages innovation, professional growth, critical thinking, and shared leadership.
This is a highly technical leadership role requiring a strong passion for deep technology, and engineering excellence. You will collaborate closely with global cross-functional teams to identify, evaluate, and develop emerging technologies that support future product and business needs. You will be responsible for driving technologies from concept through implementation, ensuring seamless transitions across development stages while maintaining a strong focus on value creation.
Success in this position requires translating technical insights into actionable strategies, defining clear execution plans, fostering accountability, and tracking measurable progress against strategic objectives.

Are you a technically strong and people-focused engineering leader who is passionate about advancing deep technology and building high-performing teams? At Copeland, we are seeking a manager who can translate business and technology objectives into clear team goals, drive execution, and foster a culture of technical excellence, continuous improvement, and collaboration.
In this role, you will lead a technology development engineering team focused on the development of advanced scroll compressor technologies and innovative engineering solutions. You will be responsible for delivering technical outcomes while establishing and improving engineering processes, design practices, and development methodologies that enhance quality, consistency, productivity, and innovation.
A key aspect of this role is developing technical capability within the organization. Through coaching, mentoring, and structured skill development initiatives, you will help engineers strengthen expertise in areas such as compressor technology, thermodynamics, simulation, design analysis, product development, and emerging engineering technologies. You will create an environment that encourages continuous learning, technical curiosity, and professional growth.
Success in this position also requires a strong commitment to employee engagement and team development. You will foster an inclusive and collaborative work environment where employees are motivated, empowered, and connected to the team's objectives.
