The role

The key focus of this role is to set standards and provide authoritative expertise for UniSuper’s enterprise integration platform within a cloud‑first environment. You will define, govern and improve how integrations are designed, built and operated to support reliable, high‑availability outcomes.

• Set standards for enterprise integration platforms operating at scale
• Define and govern API design and management practices across the lifecycle
• Shape event‑driven integration and messaging approaches
• Influence cloud integration architecture, networking and security patterns
• Improve CI/CD practices for integration artefacts, including automated testing
• Govern operational practices covering monitoring, alerting and root cause analysis

About you

You are a technical leader who stays close to the detail while shaping standards that others rely on. You apply sound judgement in complex environments and influence outcomes through expertise, clarity and accountability.

• Proven experience setting standards for enterprise integration platforms (iPaaS)
• Strong expertise in API design, authentication and lifecycle management
• Experience with event‑driven integration and messaging concepts
• Solid understanding of cloud integration architectures, security and connectivity
• Demonstrated experience running highly available production platforms
• Background influencing teams and vendors without formal authority
