About Future Fund

At the Future Fund, we’re for future minds – like yours. The new investors and creators who thrive on different thinking and doing it together. Those who glimpse opportunity before it strikes and step up every day to grab it.

The Future Fund is Australia's Sovereign Wealth Fund, managing over $340 billion across seven public asset funds with the same purpose: growing Australia’s future. We are a global investor and work closely with world leading investment organisations to access the best investment ideas.

Where others see challenges, we see more interesting investment experiences. Every person, every skillset, every mindset is an asset. We’ve got every future generation to consider, yet our approach to investing is incredibly pure: we think about it deeply, and daily. Ours is a culture where great people grow the future together, with the rare ability to work collaboratively, think freely, and make a real difference.

Are you Futureminded? Let’s create what’s next.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Talent Management professional to shape how talent, leadership capability and succession are deliberately built across the Agency.

This is a key, enterprise wide role focused on enabling a high performing, inclusive and future ready workforce. You will work with leaders to shape how capability, readiness and potential are understood — helping ensure the organisation is well positioned to deliver on its long term purpose.

Reporting to the Head of Talent & Employment Brand, you will work within a small, specialist team and partner closely with HR Business Partners, senior organisational leaders and the Academy. This role is suited to an experienced talent professional who brings sound judgement, strong insight and a pragmatic, inclusive approach in a complex stakeholder environment.

This role is not about recruitment delivery or running training programs. It is about applying a clear, thoughtful strategic lens to talent, succession and organisational effectiveness.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you will:

  • Lead enterprise wide talent review and succession processes that support thoughtful leadership decisions

  • Design and govern practical, fit for purpose talent and career frameworks aligned to business priorities

  • Partner with leaders to assess bench strength, risk, readiness and development pathways

  • Provide clear, evidence based insights that support workforce planning and leadership conversations

  • Support consistent, fair and inclusive application of promotion and progression frameworks

  • Translate workforce and talent data into insights that inform organisational direction

  • Act as a trusted advisor to leaders on talent and organisational effectiveness

About You

You are an experienced talent professional who combines judgement with organisational awareness. You bring:

  • Significant experience in Talent Management, Organisational Development, Talent Development or HR Business Partnering, with an enterprise focus

  • Demonstrated experience in talent reviews, succession planning and career frameworks

  • Experience working with senior leaders in complex organisations

  • Strong stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills, with the ability to offer constructive challenge when needed

  • A practical, evidence based approach to understanding organisational dynamics

  • Experience working with HRIS and talent systems (Workday experience highly regarded)

  • A tertiary qualification in Organisational Psychology, Psychology, Human Resources, Business or a related discipline

Please note that the opportunity is open to Australian citizens only.

We Are For Everyone

At Future Fund, we are better for our differences. Every person, every skillset, every mindset is an asset. We want everyone to feel comfortable bringing their authentic selves to work. Which is why we’re looking for future minds like yours. Your past experiences help us expand our collective knowledge, add value and create something better. When doing your job means Australia has more money to invest in renewables, education, healthcare and medical breakthroughs – there’s a tangible impact to what we do. And we want you to be part of it.
