In this role, you'll:


Work within our Business Systems & Compliance Team within the Fleet Engineering & Assurance branch of Sydney Trains, with a focus on leading and delivering programs that provide improvement, assurance and compliance of systems and processes across Fleet Maintenance.

This role will see you developing process improvements and driving process adoption and compliance for enterprise systems and processes. This will include audits, inspections and investigations to deliver assurance of safety, environment, quality and risk management requirements.

You will be accountable for general business improvement initiatives and rolling out business improvements. You will provide business systems and compliance support with your primary focus being to support the diverse portfolio of Fleet Maintenance projects.

In this role, you will liaise, consult and develop relationships with key internal and external stakeholders as well as develop and improve documentation.

About you


Your tertiary qualifications will be in Business/ Science and Engineering/ Project Management/ Finance or a related discipline that is combined with your extensive knowledge in enterprise systems and assurance.

You’re recognised for being a self-starter, meticulous, having attention to detail and good at report writing, as well as being able to analyse and develop solutions.

You are someone who can take people on a journey as you influence stakeholders and communicate that message clearly with a high level of understanding and experience. Your ability to lead and influence will require a working knowledge of project management, configuration management as well as maintenance management systems and processes. In particular you will have a sound understanding of SAP transactions for planning, scheduling and execution of heavy maintenance as well as HSE, and risk management.

This is an Award RC7 Permanent Full-Time role, with a variety of locations that you will visit and work from that include, Clyde, Sydney CBD and our 6 maintenance centres - Flemington, Hornsby, Eveleigh, Sydenham, Mortdale – as well as flexibility through our hybrid working model.
