Job Purpose:
• Develop and deploy appropriate and cost-effective IT solutions to support DSBG's business and operational needs
Main Responsibilities:
• Interacts with business users and CDD staff and assists in determining functional requirements.
• Assists in translating functional specification into system requirements to ensure business needs are addressed.
• Identifies systems inputs and outputs, identifies and outlines modifications necessary to processing activities, and develops technical design, system manuals and program specifications to meet functional/systems requirements.
• Assists in systems test design to ensure all components interact and operate effectively; supports business users and CDD staff to conduct user acceptance testing phase.
• Prepares system manual and technical document.
• Coordinates with Data Center Service Provider Executives in production procedure set-up for launching of new systems.
• Assumes responsibility for production support in a maintenance environment and provides concrete solution to ensure the stability of such environment.
• Maintains current technical skills and business knowledge; begins to develop greater technical skills and understanding of business activities in order to analyze more complex problems and design systems more appropriately.
• Prepares and reviews change requests.
• Acts as project leader of minor to major projects.
• Provides advice to Analyst Programmers on system and program design.
• Acts as backup to Senior Systems Analyst and Project Manager.
• Formulates and enforce standard or guideline in system development.
• Support all entities of DSFG including merged and acquired companies.
Incumbent Requirements:
• University graduate in Information Systems / Computer Science or equivalent
• At least 7 years’ relevant experience preferable with banking industry
• Experience in functional and technical specifications documentation, systems design, conduct system test, support user acceptance test
• Independent and able to deliver quality results under tight schedule
• Good team player, strong communication skills
