Location: French speaking Switzerland, Neuchatel
Start: ASAP
Contract: 12 months, temporary assignment
Workload: 100% / 40 hours per week
Hybrid work model 50:50
Language: English; French and/or German is an advantage

For an international pharmaceutical environment, we are looking for an experienced Manager Supply Chain Site Coordinator for a 12-month temporary assignment based in Boudry.

The key focus of this position is to act as the central Supply Chain interface between internal Planning teams and external Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs).

You will coordinate the flow of supply and demand information between both sides and ensure that production plans, purchase orders, forecasts and delivery schedules are aligned with market requirements. A major part of the role is to proactively identify and manage supply exceptions, shortages and backorders and to ensure that potential disruptions are addressed before they impact Customer Service Levels and product availability.

This is therefore not a general Supply Chain position, but a highly collaborative and operational coordination role at the intersection of Planning, External Manufacturing and market supply.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the main Supply Chain interface between internal Planning teams and external CMOs
  • Coordinate supply and demand requirements between internal stakeholders and manufacturing partners
  • Ensure adequate production at CMOs to meet customer and market demand
  • Manage and follow up on Purchase Orders, ensuring timely placement, confirmation and delivery
  • Closely monitor delivery schedules, open orders and order exceptions
  • Provide forecasts to CMOs and align production requirements with medium- and long-term demand
  • Proactively identify potential supply disruptions, shortages, allocations, backorders and stock-outs
  • Assess the impact of supply or quality-related issues on market availability and coordinate appropriate actions
  • Manage supply priorities and exceptions to maintain agreed Customer Service Levels
  • Support synchronization between customer orders, production campaigns and material availability
  • Act as a key contact for product inquiries, shipments, scheduling and logistics-related topics
  • Work cross-functionally with Market Supply Planning, Customer Service, Quality, Manufacturing Technology, Procurement and external manufacturing partners
  • Support supply chain performance analysis and relevant KPIs
  • Coordinate product rework/redress activities at CMO sites where required
  • Support and lead supply chain-related projects as needed

Your Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management or a related discipline
  • Around 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical, consumer products or a comparable regulated manufacturing environment, ideally within Supply Chain or Manufacturing
  • Hands-on experience in supply planning and coordination with manufacturing sites and/or external manufacturing partners
  • Strong knowledge of Master Scheduling, Forecasting, Customer Service, Logistics, Distribution and/or Inventory Management
  • Very good understanding of operational planning processes, including MPS, MRP and forecasting
  • Experience working with ERP systems
  • SAP, BI and/or APO experience would be an advantage
  • APICS certification (CPIM and/or CSCP) is a plus
  • Project management experience is advantageous
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify supply risks and drive issues towards resolution
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across internal and external organizations
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work accurately in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment
  • Excellent MS Excel and MS Office skills
  • Fluent English; French and/or German would be an advantage
  • Willingness to travel occasionally if required

Assignment Details
This is a 12-month temporary assignment, starting as soon as possible. The position is based in region Neuchatel, Switzerland, with a hybrid working model requiring approximately 50% on-site presence.
We are particularly interested in candidates who have worked in a complex pharmaceutical supply chain environment and are comfortable coordinating supply activities across Planning teams, manufacturing sites and external partners.
If you enjoy being the person who connects demand with production, keeps orders and deliveries on track and proactively resolves supply issues, we look forward to receiving your application.
