Job Description

The Manager, Supply Chain Optimization supports initiatives that improve cost, service, and operational efficiency across the supply chain. Reporting into Supply Chain Operations, this role partners closely with Operations, Analytics, Technology, and other cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, solve complex business challenges, and drive measurable improvements. Success in this role requires strong analytical thinking, sound business judgment, and the ability to influence outcomes in a fast-moving environment through data-driven insights and structured execution.

Responsibilities

Supply Chain Strategy & Optimization

• Lead multiple cross-functional supply chain initiatives across inventory, logistics, distribution, and network operations
• Identify opportunities to improve service, cost, productivity, and operational efficiency across the supply chain
• Perform data-driven analysis related to network design, capacity utilization, inventory flow, and distribution performance
• Develop business cases, scenario analyses, and financial models to support strategic decision-making

Performance Management & Analytics

• Monitor KPIs across inventory, service, cost, and capacity to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
• Track initiative performance against expected business outcomes and recommend course corrections when needed
• Partner with Analytics, Technology, and Operations teams to enhance reporting, dashboards, and data visibility
• Incorporate vendor, carrier, and external partner performance into recommendations and action plans

Project Execution & Change Management

• Manage project plans, milestones, priorities, risks, and stakeholder communication across multiple initiatives
• Support implementation of process and technology changes across operational teams
• Drive alignment across business partners and influence decisions without direct authority
• Prepare executive-level presentations, updates, and analysis for senior leadership

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Analytics, or related field
• 5–6 years of relevant experience, including 3+ years in analytics, strategy, operations, or supply chain optimization
• Strong analytical skills with experience building models, interpreting KPIs, and translating data into actionable recommendations
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with SQL, Tableau, or Power BI preferred
• Proven ability to manage multiple high-impact initiatives in a complex environment
• Strong project management, prioritization, and risk management skills
• Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to senior leaders

• Experience in retail, consulting, or other high-volume operational environments
• Experience supporting network optimization, inventory strategy, or supply chain transformation initiatives
