This position will lead and develop supply chain teams across functional disciplines including purchasing and planning to maximize the value and performance of Watlow’s supplier partnerships and establishes a world class supply chain. The SCM will coordinate, organize and oversee all activities for the front end of material flow to support the customers' needs
• Develop, apply, and leverage supply chain strategies, processes, and best practices across the company to enable achievement of enterprise targets
• Facilitates, coaches, and mentors supply chain rapid improvement events
• Ensure strategic sourcing strategies are effectively applied and leveraged controlling material cost, and monitoring quality and delivery performance
• Monitor supply chain inventory and records, assessing inventory dollars/turns and inventory accuracy and the impact to the supply base
• Develops mastery in self and others in specified functional disciplines as noted in discipline matrix.
• Grows functional expertise and best practices while benchmarking progress to world class standards
• Designs and improves functional KPIs that contribute meaningful results to enterprise True North initiatives
Qualifications.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or enrolled in a continuing education program
• Technical certification preferred
• Project management experience
• Leadership training
• 7-10 years of lean leadership experience preferred
