The Corporate Supply chain team support business on freight procurement for Sea, Air & Road modes along with managing CFS operations. We are a fast-paced dynamic team and act as a bridge between core internal brands and service providers to ensure stocks are delivered on time at the lowest possible cost.
• Analyze market conditions to help facilitate vendor evaluations and periodic contract negotiations
• Have a detailed understanding of agreed service levels, relevant KPI’s, and be closely involved in the monitoring and delivery of agreed SLAs to business
• Take ownership of CFS operations, analysis and projects and generate and distribute management reports in accurate and timely manner to all stakeholders
• Co-ordinate with multiple stakeholders across various business verticals to collate, analyze and create reports on Inflow Projections, Performance reports etc.
• Take an active role in preparation for and conducting performance review meetings with service providers.
• Build market and product knowledge and devise a communication plan to ensure that market intelligence is shared with all stake holders
• Experience in commercial aspects of Sea / Air Freight and developing logistics solutions
• Work with large sets of data and apply statistical and/or quantitative techniques to solve business problems
• MBA level education in Business or other relevant discipline with a minimum of 4 years’ work experience in the Sea freight industry (Shipping lines, Freight Forwarders)
• Credible and articulate, with excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to interpret and communicate statistical insights to stakeholders
• Exposure to operational reporting and analysis, Capacity Planning & Forecasting
• Ambition and drive to excel and the ability to independently lead a team
• Comprehensive knowledge Of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Power BI etc.
• Excellent math and computational ability
