The Manager, Supplier Lifecycle & Governance is responsible for managing the end-to-end supplier lifecycle across onboarding, master data governance, digital enablement, and supplier risk oversight within KL GBS. This role ensures suppliers are onboarded efficiently, maintained accurately across procurement and ERP systems, and continuously monitored for governance and risk compliance. The incumbent will drive data integrity, strengthen supplier controls, and enhance transparency across the supplier base. Acting as a central point of accountability, the role partners closely with Procurement, IT, Finance, Risk, Compliance, and Business stakeholders to deliver operational excellence and continuous improvement in supplier lifecycle management

Make an Impact by

  • Lead end-to-end supplier onboarding processes, ensuring compliance with governance, documentation, and system requirements
  • Oversee supplier lifecycle management, including migration from legacy systems and adoption of digital procurement platforms
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and validation of supplier data prior to system activation
  • Drive supplier adoption of digital tools such as e-invoicing and P2P platforms
  • Maintain and govern vendor master data across procurement and ERP systems (e.g., Ivalua, SAP, AcuBuy)
  • Manage vendor data updates, duplicate resolution, and master data harmonization
  • Execute supplier risk assessments during onboarding and periodic reviews
  • Monitor supplier risk indicators, escalate high-risk cases, and track remediation actions
  • Develop dashboards and reports on supplier onboarding, risk exposure, and compliance metrics
  • Analyse data trends to identify improvement opportunities and strengthen controls
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Procurement, IT, Finance/AP, Risk, Compliance) to align governance and operational processes
  • Serve as a key point of contact for supplier lifecycle governance and support stakeholder queries

Skills for Success

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Commerce, Finance, or a related discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement operations, supplier management, governance, risk, or compliance
  • Strong understanding of supplier lifecycle management and third-party risk governance
  • Experience working with procurement and ERP systems (e.g., Ivalua, SAP, Ariba, AcuBuy)
  • Strong analytical and data-driven problem-solving capabilities
  • Experience in process improvement, operational controls, and data governance
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel and reporting tools
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across cross-functional teams
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced shared services environment with high attention to detail

Good to Have

  • Experience in shared services or regional/global support environments
  • Exposure to digital procurement platforms, P2P, and e-invoicing processes
  • Knowledge of supplier onboarding systems and data harmonization initiatives
  • Familiarity with governance frameworks and compliance requirements
