Job Description

In this position you will....

Be a part of a small and strong-knit team responsible for driving business growth via both organic and inorganic avenues. Your core focus will be hands-on management and delivery of strategy projects, while also at times working with other team members to support fundraising and investor relation activities. You will work closely with the c-suite and senior leaders across Group, regional and country levels.

Owing to our unique company set up, you will encounter and learn to navigate a diverse range of business problems faced by an insurtech start-up and a large insurance group. This is the ideal opportunity for an experienced strategy professional who wants to roll up their sleeves and help shape the future strategy of an exciting and award-winning global insurtech.

You will be responsible for…

Fund Raising

  • Fundraising execution: support day‑to‑day execution of fundraising activities, respond to due diligence requests, and address investor inquiries. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external advisors as needed.
  • Public market readiness: refine the investor narrative, maintain financial models and valuation work under guidance, and drive internal readiness by serving as a key liaison between cross‑functional teams
  • Shareholder & investor engagement: maintain the data room and investor list, track investor interactions and feedback, and serve as the primary point of contact for monitoring and responding to existing shareholder and investor requests
  • Market monitoring: track market conditions and intelligence, monitor capital markets activity and M&A transactions across the Insurtech space, prepare materials to update management team on regular basis

Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Support

  • Research & screening: conduct market research and target screening in specific regions aligned with the company’s regional strategy. Perform fundamental analysis of M&A targets and collaborate with internal stakeholders and external advisors to assess strategic fit
  • Deal execution: participate in end‑to‑end deal execution, coordinating and driving due diligence, valuation, deal structuring, and post‑acquisition integration planning
  • Approval & communication: support internal approval and reporting processes by drafting committee memos and presentations, assisting with stakeholder communication, and following up on feedback

Strategic Projects Support

  • Contribute to cross-functional projects that enhance growth, operational efficiency, and innovation across the organization
  • Support senior leadership team to identify strategic opportunities and drive execution of high-impact initiatives
  • Assist in the preparation of business cases, investment proposals, and strategic reviews for leadership considerations

You will require the following qualifications and skills

  • Minimum of 3 years’ relevant work experience, ideally in strategy consulting, investment banking, or within a top‑tier corporate development or corporate transaction team, preferably in a multinational or matrixed organization. (Exposure to insurance, insurtech, fintech, financial services, or B2B SaaS sectors is highly desirable). Candidates with more experience may be considered for a Manager‑level role
  • Tertiary degree in business, finance, economics, accounting, actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, engineering or similar subject with strong analytical background
  • Self‑driven professional who takes ownership of tasks, proactively seeks solutions, and works independently to deliver high‑quality output on time
  • Strong business acumen and communication skills, comfortable interacting with internal and external stakeholders
  • Exceptional presentation skills and project management capability, with proficiency in PowerPoint, excel and executive-level storytelling.
  • Strong command of verbal and written English, proficiency in additional Asian or European languages is a plus
