Manager, Strategic Sourcing

Location: Mexico City (Hybrid)

As a Manager, Strategic Sourcing supporting Marketing and Commercial teams, you will be trusted to lead sourcing initiatives across key marketing procurement categories such as media agencies, creative agencies, promotional activities, and meetings & events in the Americas. You will partner closely with Brand Directors and senior stakeholders across the Americas to deliver high-value procurement strategies, drive cost savings, and ensure best-in-class supplier performance.

In this role, a typical day will include:

• Partner with Marketing and Commercial leadership to identify sourcing opportunities and develop category strategies.
• Lead strategic sourcing initiatives including RFP and RFQ processes, supplier negotiations, and contract management.
• Analyze supplier proposals, pricing structures, and market benchmarks to support fact-based sourcing decisions.
• Manage relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers across the Americas.
• Track procurement performance metrics and support cost savings initiatives through data-driven insights.
  

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement or strategic sourcing.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to work in multinational and matrix organizations.
• Experience negotiating supplier agreements and managing sourcing processes.
• Strong analytical capabilities and ability to evaluate supplier proposals and pricing structures.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Fluent English communication skills (written and verbal).
  Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in Marketing Procurement (media agencies, creative agencies, meetings & events).
