Your Job

As a Manager Statutory & Tax Reporting, you are responsible for coordinating a team of specialists supporting statutory reporting, tax compliance, audit activities and controllership across multiple European jurisdictions. You ensure quality, consistency and timely execution of all deliverables while supporting the development of team capabilities.


Our Team

You will be a part of new European Center of Excellence, hosted by Phillips-Medisize Poland, supporting statutory reporting, tax compliance, controllership, audit coordination and governance activities for entities across Europe.


What You Will Do

  • Lead, coordinate and develop a team of Statutory & Tax Reporting Controller/specialists, ensuring clear priorities, effective workload distribution and a high-performance team environment
  • Oversee the preparation and review of statutory financial statements, ensuring accuracy, completeness and compliance with local statutory requirements and internal reporting standards
  • Coordinate statutory reporting activities across the assigned entity portfolio, ensuring all deliverables are completed accurately and on time
  • Monitor and review Income Statement and Balance Sheet reporting for assigned entities, ensuring issues are identified, investigated and resolved in a timely manner
  • Coordinate external statutory audits, acting as the primary day-to-day contact for auditors and supporting the timely closure of audit requests and findings
  • Review VAT, corporate income tax and other compliance-related deliverables prepared by the team, ensuring adherence to local regulatory requirements and internal policies
  • Act as the first escalation point for operational and compliance-related issues, supporting the team in resolving complex matters and driving issues to conclusion
  • Support the implementation of standardized processes, controls and ways of working across the European Statutory & Tax Center of Excellence
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, efficiency, automation and process simplification
  • Ensure adherence to reporting calendars, statutory filing deadlines and governance requirements across the assigned portfolio of entities
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders, external auditors, tax advisors and local business representatives
  • Provide coaching, feedback and professional development opportunities to team members, supporting knowledge growth and succession planning
  • Support business transformation initiatives, entity integrations and process migrations as part of the ongoing development of the European Statutory & Tax Center of Excellence
  • Prepare and communicate status updates, key risks and performance metrics to management, proactively escalating issues where required
  • Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration and operational excellence while ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality statutory and compliance services

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Finance or Accounting
  • Experience with statutory reporting and audits
  • People leadership experience
  • Knowledge of European accounting principles
  • Good system knowledge
  • Solid understanding of USGAAP, local GAAP and tax accounting principles applicable to the entities supported
  • Experience in multinational environment preferred
  • Fluent in English and Polish, both oral and in writing
