The Manager, Specialty Referral Development supports the growth and coordination of Crescent Oral Surgery and four Ontario Endodontic Specialists clinics. This role focuses on strengthening referral relationships, improving alignment across clinics, and increasing internal case retention for specialty services.
As the clinics continue to scale, this field-based role is critical to driving referral growth, reducing external referral leakage, and supporting consistent patient flow while maintaining a strong patient experience.

Reporting to the Director, Specialty Service Development, this role works closely with Practice Managers, Partners, and clinical teams to scale oral surgery and endodontic services efficiently.
By strengthening referral relationships and reducing external referral leakage, the Manager, Specialty Referral Development will help keep more specialty care within the Dentalcorp network. This drives higher case volume, improved clinic utilization, and stronger internal growth. While delivering faster access, better continuity, and providing a more seamless experience for our patients.
Build and maintain a targeted referral network of general dentists and healthcare professionals across Ontario
Conduct regular in-person visits to strengthen referral relationships and awareness of specialty services
Increase referral volume and internal case retention for oral surgery and endodontics
Serve as a key liaison between Crescent Oral Surgery, Endodontic Specialists clinics, and the broader network
Support scheduling optimization, patient flow, and day-to-day operational alignment
Promote consistent treatment planning standards to improve efficiency and case acceptance
Identify opportunities for service expansion and increased internal case volume
Partner with marketing on referral materials, education events, and outreach initiatives
Track referral activity and performance using CRM tools and dashboards
Monitor key KPIs including referrals, procedural starts, revenue mix, and patient visits
Collaborate with Practice Managers and Partners on group-specific performance initiatives
Escalate operational or performance risks as needed
Work cross-functionally with field operations, recruitment, and clinical excellence teams
2–3+ years of experience in business development, referral development, patient coordination, or sales, ideally within dentistry or healthcare
Proven success driving growth through referrals, case volume, or revenue
Strong relationship-building skills with dentists or healthcare providers
Comfort with field-based work and regular travel across Ontario/GTA
Experience using CRM tools (Salesforce or similar preferred) and performance reporting
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Strong communication, organization, and follow-through skills
Results-oriented mindset with a focus on growth and patient experience
Post-secondary education in Business, Healthcare Administration, Sales, or a related field preferred
Dental specialty exposure or event/marketing support experience considered an asset
