The Opportunity
The Manager, Solutions Delivery plays a critical role within the Business Technology organization, combining strategic leadership with hands‑on delivery of technology solutions that enable global commercial operations. This role is responsible for planning, building, and delivering scalable, high‑quality IT solutions while ensuring alignment with business strategy, regulatory requirements, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate is a results‑driven IT leader who thrives in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment and has a proven ability to bridge functional business needs with technical execution.
What You’ll Work On
Lead the planning, development, and operation of enterprise information technology systems and commercial technology platforms
Own end‑to‑end solution and program delivery across project execution and ongoing operational lifecycles
Partner with business leaders and IT stakeholders to define program objectives, business cases, and long‑term technology roadmaps
Lead and coordinate multiple interrelated IT initiatives, managing scope, schedule, budget, risks, dependencies, and change
Provide day‑to‑day leadership for cross‑functional teams, including internal staff and external vendors, driving collaboration and high‑performance delivery
Guide the selection, installation, and use of hardware, software, and third‑party solutions
Oversee commercial technology platforms such as Salesforce, Conga, PROS, and/or Model N, including vendor management and solution oversight
Support quoting, pricing, contracting, rebate/accrual calculations, and contract compliance monitoring capabilities
Define, implement, and enforce IT policies, procedures, technical standards, methods, and priorities
Own release, deployment, and DevOps management activities, including cutover planning and go‑live execution
Ensure security, quality control, and compliance of information systems in line with corporate policies and regulatory requirements
Monitor system operations, identify improvement opportunities, and drive process optimization
Control and recommend IT budgets and investments
Lead investigations, feasibility studies, and assessments of proposed and existing systems
Allocate, develop, mentor, and evaluate IT staff and project team resources
Act as an escalation point for critical risks, issues, and defects, ensuring timely resolution
Facilitate workshops to gather requirements, document current and future‑state processes, and define solution designs
Participate in pre‑program and Phase 0 activities, including solution demos and client proposals
Communicate program and portfolio status through clear, concise reporting to senior and executive leadership
Travel domestically up to approximately 5% as required
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience (Associate’s degree with significant experience may be considered)
Minimum of 7 years of experience supporting information technology solutions, including project, program, or operations leadership
At least 5 years of experience managing project or solution delivery teams
Proven experience leading complex, cross‑functional IT initiatives from concept through implementation
Strong understanding of IT systems, application development, integrations, and operational support
Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, vendors, risks, and delivery commitments
Experience working in regulated or compliance‑driven environments
Preferred Qualifications
6–8+ years of experience in project management, solution delivery, business systems analysis, software development, deployment, or IT operations
Experience with commercial technology platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Conga, PROS, Model N)
Knowledge of quoting, pricing, and contracting business domains
Experience with hybrid agile, waterfall, and scaled delivery methodologies
Strong strategic planning, demand management, and process improvement capabilities
Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
Proven ability to manage and balance multiple small, medium, and large implementation initiatives simultaneously
