Job Description

We are looking for a People Manager in App Releasing, Software Solutions focused on developing talent and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and execution excellence. This is a challenging position where you must use your leadership toolbox to bring out the best in people, enable them to reach their goals, coach them to become high performing teams and help shape a world-class working environment.

You will have full responsibility for the personal and professional development of cross-competence professionals in 5 system teams (approx. 20 employees). Your responsibilities include recruiting & hiring, performance management, and fostering a growth mindset. Your teams are working within DevOps, test automation, verification and releasing of a medical mobile app which is a part of the Demant hearing aid solution.

In Software Solutions, you will join a diverse group of colleagues who work every day to deliver cutting-edge software products and platforms that enable millions of people worldwide to benefit from our solutions. Software Solutions is based in three sites, Warsaw, Szczecin and Copenhagen.

Software Solutions Releasing consists of two areas, App Releasing and Fitting Software Releasing, responsible for releasing Software Solutions digital products.

App Releasing is based in our Warsaw office, where you will lead and develop approximately 20 professionals across 5 teams.

You will work in close collaboration with other Fitting Software and App managers within Software Solutions in Warsaw, but also with managers in our Fitting Software Releasing organization in Copenhagen and Szczecin.

  • You are a manager with at least 2 years of experience in people management
  • You have experience leading and developing professionals in a software development environment
  • You exhibit enthusiasm, drive and self-reliance with a high degree of commitment and ownership 
  • You have excellent communication and relationship management skills, with a strong focus on developing, mentoring and coaching. 
  • You have exceptional people management skills, with the ability to uncover individual motivations and effectively apply situational leadership
  • You have a curious approach to problem-solving and can challenge existing practices, if needed
  • You are fluent in English for effective collaboration in a global setting.

It would be nice if: 

  • You have experience with DevOps, test and releasing practices
  • You are familiar with the SAFe framework. 
  • You have experience in medical software or other regulated industries
  • You have experience working in a large, international company
